Acceptable Use Policy
Acceptable Use Policy
Admin on Demand, LLC. Effective September 30, 2026 for new customers and October 30, 2026 for existing customers. Last updated September 30, 2026.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to every service governed by the Terms of Service of Admin on Demand, LLC, including services provided as AOD Hosting and New Blog Hosting, and to anyone who uses them, including your users and customers. It does not apply to AOD Pulse, which has its own terms. It is part of our Terms of Service. You are responsible for any violation by anyone using your services.
1. Illegal and harmful content
You may not use our services to store, publish, transmit or promote:
- child sexual abuse material or any content that sexualizes minors. If we learn of apparent child sexual abuse material, we preserve and report it as required by law, including to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, remove or disable access to it, and suspend or terminate the responsible service;
- content or activity that violates any applicable law, including fraud, scams, phishing, identity theft, and sale of illegal goods or services;
- material that infringes copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property, or counterfeit goods (see Section 10 of our Terms of Service for DMCA notices);
- threats of violence, harassment, stalking, or publication of another person's private information without consent;
- non-consensual intimate imagery;
- content that promotes terrorism or incites violence.
2. Security and network abuse
You may not:
- distribute malware, ransomware, spyware or viruses, or host phishing pages or credential-harvesting tools;
- operate botnets, command-and-control servers or malicious proxies;
- access, scan, probe or test systems, accounts or networks without authorization, including vulnerability scanning of third parties;
- launch or participate in denial-of-service attacks;
- forge packet or email headers, spoof IP addresses, or use IP addresses not assigned to you;
- attempt to circumvent our security measures, resource limits or billing.
Security testing of your own systems on our network is allowed only with prior written notice to us.
3. Email and messaging
You may not send unsolicited bulk or commercial email (spam) or text messages, use purchased or harvested lists, or send messages that violate the CAN-SPAM Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act or similar laws. Commercial email must identify the sender, include a valid physical address and honor unsubscribe requests promptly. You may not use our services to advertise websites or services through spam sent from elsewhere. Shared hosting plans may have hourly sending limits.
4. Shared hosting resource use
On shared hosting, including New Blog Hosting plans, you may not use resources in a way that degrades service for other customers. Without our written approval you may not:
- mine cryptocurrency or run other sustained processor-intensive workloads;
- run persistent background processes, game servers, IRC servers or bots;
- operate public file-sharing, torrent, proxy, VPN or anonymizing services;
- use hosting space primarily as file storage, backup storage or a content distribution network for files not used by your website.
If an account uses excessive resources, we may limit it, ask you to optimize it, or ask you to move to a more suitable plan.
5. Keeping your services secure
You are responsible for keeping the software you control up to date, using strong unique passwords and protecting your credentials. If your account or website is compromised and is causing harm, such as sending spam, hosting malware or attacking others, we may suspend it until it is cleaned. Cleanup performed by us is billable unless it is covered by your plan.
6. IP addresses and reputation
You may not engage in activity that causes our IP addresses or networks to be listed on spam or abuse blocklists. If your activity causes a listing, you must stop the activity, and we may charge for the time needed to remove the listing.
7. Export controls and sanctions
You may not use our services in violation of US export control or sanctions laws.
8. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may remove or disable access to content, limit or suspend services, or terminate accounts, as described in our Terms of Service. We try to give notice and an opportunity to fix a problem, but we may act immediately when there is a risk to our network, other customers, third parties or the law. Services terminated for violating this AUP are not refunded. We cooperate with law enforcement as described in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
9. Reporting abuse
To report abuse, spam, malware or other violations involving our network or services, email [email protected] with the subject "Abuse report" and include the relevant details, such as headers, URLs, IP addresses and timestamps. Send copyright notices to [email protected] as described in Section 10 of our Terms of Service.
10. Changes
We may update this AUP. Material changes will be announced as described in our Terms of Service.
